Fun Times with Family and Friends

Last night we invited Emily’s closest friend from school for their very first sleep-over and then took the girls and met Anna’s family in the next town over for a pre-Christmas celebration.

We went on a carriage ride, decorated Christmas cookies, walked around the shops, watched the tree-lighting and Emily even sat on Santa’s lap! She’s 8 years old and had always been terrified of sitting on Santa’s lap.

Our favorite coffee shop, Milwaukee Traders (think big comfy couches and free wi-fi) is the perfect place to relax and do business. It was all decked out for the holidays.

I didn’t forget my camera this time and created this video. Enjoy!

p.s. This morning, I overheard Emily and her friend talking about their ’someday.’ How cool is that!
