It’s Time to Stop Hiding

Last night, I participated in an invitation-only phone call with several top leaders in this profession from all different companies.
While I’m not at liberty to go into the details of the topic of the call, (to be announced soon!), it was a thrill for me to listen in with such an amazing group of people.
It really got me thinking more and more about this profession and how it has not only changed over the years, but more importantly, how it has transformed the lives of so many people.
We have an amazing profession that we can say we’re a part of, yet many still hide behind network marketing. What do you say when people ask you what you do?
Do you say, “Oh, I’ve got some side thing” or “Well, it’s this thing from home”
STOP saying that stuff!
There is no other profession on this planet that offers the opportunity to achieve real financial security in a 3-5 year time frame.
There are many other professions also in a 3-5 year time frame, such as insurance agents, financial planners, etc…with a big difference. For them, the 3-5 year time frame is JUST TO GET ESTABLISHED. I know because I worked in investments for 17 years.
No other profession tries to skirt around who they really are and what they do. When you need insurance, you go to an insurance professional. When you need tax advice, you call your tax professional.
So, why should we be any different? We shouldn’t.
Look, it’s time to get over it and embrace our profession. If you’re reading this and are in a network marketing business, then you are a network marketing professional, as am I.

The 9-5, 40 year plan does not work to create financial security. Just ask the former employees of Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, AIG, and countless other companies.
Network marketing doeswork and we have the proof!
People like Eric Worre, Randy Gage, Jordan Adler, Jackie Ulmer, Mark Yarnell and countless others who, over the years, have not only created financial security for themselves, but help other people do the same.
Do you realize how many people out there right now are searching for a solution? A solution that you have? I talk to people every day who have been let go from their jobs and are still unemployed 6, 7, 8 months later or longer.
The unemployed today are not janitors and burger-flippers. People losing their jobs today are those in the $50K and up income range who suddenly find themselves out the door with not so much as a ‘thank you’ from the company that just let them go.
This profession is for everyone!
It’s for everyone who wants to dust off their dreams, make ’someday’ happen now. It’s for everyone who never wants to miss another soccer game, who never wants drop their baby off at daycare again, who never wants to worry about how to pay the bills.
It’s for everyone who wants out of the ‘rat-race’ and who wants in on enjoying life.
Folks, it’s time to stop hiding behind network marketing.
