I, we, have a lot to be thankful for. We live in a free country, where men, women and children are free to worship as they choose, free to go about as we please, free to choose our livelihood and our neighborhood.

I am thankful for my family, local and long-distance. I am thankful for my amazing husband, my soul-mate, my feisty 10 year old daughter, of which I never in a million years, thought I would be so blessed.

Without a doubt, I am thankful for my brave sons, who serve and protect from far away, and for all of our military families who give up more than just a holiday for this country.

I am thankful that I never gave up my quest for a successful business. I am thankful for every single experience that has happened along the way. For those experiences served as my ‘education’ and I know I’m not finished learning yet.

I am thankful for my good health, for without that, nothing else really matters.

I am thankful for the amazing mentors I have found and the friendships I have made these last 10 years, online and offline, for without you, my life would be much different.

I could go on with lots of little things, too, but I think most importantly, this Thanksgiving is different. I am much more aware of what it is to be truly thankful to have the people and blessings in my life that I do.

What are you thankful for?
