Where did the last 10 years go? It’s been a decade of a lot of change for me personally and professionally.

While 2008 saw a lot of family and personal events, 2009 turned out to be a year of professional transformation for me.

I owe a lot of that to people like Jackie Ulmer, Jordan Adler, Eric Worre, Randy Gage and Richard Brooke, to name a few. They’ve been leaders in our profession for a very long time and their journey and examples shine.

There have been a few defining moments for me this year and one in particular that stands out. While at our company convention in September, our Senior Executive, D’vorah Lansky, looked me in the eye and said, “Patty, step into your leadership.” D’vorah, I hope you know how much that one conversation has impacted my life.

2009 was the year of defining my direction for going forward into the new year and beyond. I have a number of very solid goals for 2010 with a plan of action ready to achieve them. I hope you do, too. If you haven’t put them on paper yet, along with your action plan, please do that today.

We’ve been talking for several months about “Your Someday Starts Now” and I hope it’s resonated with you about what this means. ‘Someday’ IS today, right now, not tomorrow.

I want to thank you for reading, thank you for participating and thank you for your inspiration! I am more excited about 2010 than any year before in my business because of you.

One final note I’d like to leave you with. If you’ve been hesitating to take a look at network marketing, if you’ve been ‘hiding’ behind being a network marketer or if you’ve been not sure about how to take your business to the next level, don’t wait.

Don’t wait to take another look at this profession. Don’t wait to embrace our profession and don’t wait to learn and take your business to the top.
